Air Conditioning
Looking to have air conditioning installed?
Air Conditioning is becoming increasingly popular for both commercial and domestic use.
Whether you’re looking to keep equipment at the right temperature or wanting to turn your conservatory into additional living space, Bradgate Climate Control can provide a solution for you.

Why not bring comfort to your home/business?
Air Conditioning is often associated with cooling but modern units not only cool they also dehumidify, heat, and even clean the air of dust and other pollutants.
More commonly known as Air source heat pumps our units allow the customer to adjust the environment to best suit them, creating spaces they can use all year round.
Bradgate climate control can supply and install a wide range of leading brands including Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, and Toshiba in both commercial or domestic environments.
Styles
High wall units
These are the most common heat pumps we install as they are the cheapest and easiest to install without the need for any building works. The units are placed high up on the wall and work for both heating and cooling. These can be fitted into any room of the house and are commonly installed in bedrooms to aid with sleep on hot nights.
Low wall units
Slightly more expensive than the high wall units these are most commonly fitted into conservatories that have a “dwarf wall” although they can be fitted into any room. These look similar to your normal radiators with the additional function of being able to cool as well as heat.
Cassettes
These are very common commercially due to there great design whilst still looking discreet. Airflow is directed in all directions from the unit giving better coverage of the area. Ideal for suspended ceilings compact cassette units (up to 7kw) can fit into one ceiling tile meaning minimal disruption to the grid. They can also be installed into boarded ceilings although some decoration work may be needed.
Units come standard in white but can be painted if requested.
Ducted units
These are the most expensive units but are also the most discreet/ aesthetically pleasing. The unit is usually placed in a ceiling void or plant room with ducting running across into the room. These units work well when you want to do multiple rooms or cover one large room as you can spread the ducting to make sure there is even coverage. The customer can then decide which style of vent they would like.
These are mainly used for bedrooms with the unit being placed in the loft. They can also be used for the downstairs area with some extra consideration on where we would be able to run ductwork. Our design team will be able to run through this with you on-site.
Air Conditioning repair
With over 10 years’ experience in the air conditioning industry working on a large range of equipment, our fully qualified engineers can competently repair and maintain all major brands of Air Conditioning units in both domestic and commercial environments.
How does it work?
First, you would call to report the problem, we would ask for a brief description of symptoms if there are any. Then we would book a date which is most convenient to visit the site.
Once on-site, our engineers will look over the unit and run diagnostics to try and find the fault. When the fault is found we would report back to the customer informing them of the problem. We would then discuss the best options along with the price and the time scale of the repair.
If the customer is happy, we would proceed with the job and either complete on the day or book another day at your convenience if parts need to be ordered.

Maintenance
At Bradgate climate control we believe that when you look after equipment it then looks after you. Regular maintenance can help increase efficiency which in turn would reduce running costs and help to maximize the lifespan of the equipment. Our engineers will also help to make sure you are fulfilling legal requirements as with new regulations in place all units holding over 3kg of refrigerant are required to have leak checks annually and keep a record.
We can offer a range of maintenance packages tailored to your needs. This can be a simple one-off service, an annual or bi-annual service, through to a quarterly maintenance package paid on a monthly retainer.
Our contracts will cover all air conditioning units, regardless of brand, age, who installed it or commissioned it.
Customers who take out maintenance contracts with us can also benefit from rapid response call-out as we believe in looking after customers who look after their equipment.
